I am originally from a small town on Long Island, New York. I have lived in New York City, Santa Fe New Mexico, Florence Italy, and now Rome, where I've been for the last 4 years. In 2005 I co-founded The Roman Wine Company specializing in selling Italian wine online. I'll be moving to London in late September 2007 to pursue my MSc degree in Information Systems Management and to promote my wine website to the UK market.

Absolutely not a secret or surprise. I am moving to London at the end of September to get my Master's. Thanks for your readership, and stick around for the "new" blog.

And thanks for writing such a witty and accurate blog about living here as a foreigner. Your blog really helped me to adjust and get over my initial culture shock when i arrived here 2 years ago. :)
Thanks! I will still be an expat in the UK (I am from the US), but, in the words of my British friend Mark, "you Yanks aren't really considered foreigners here, you're just Yanks".
